Public Limited Company Registration

Private Limited Company Registration

Starting a business with the ambition to expand on a large scale requires choosing the right legal structure. A Public Limited Company (PLC) is an ideal option for businesses that plan to raise capital, attract investors, and achieve long-term growth. It provides legal recognition, limited liability protection, and enhanced business credibility.

A Public Limited Company is incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 and has a separate legal identity from its shareholders. Unlike a private limited company, a public limited company can offer its securities to the public, subject to applicable laws and regulatory approvals.

To incorporate a Public Limited Company in India, a minimum of three directors and seven shareholders are required. It is a preferred business structure for medium and large enterprises with expansion plans.

What is a Public Limited Company?

A Public Limited Company is a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with the ability to raise capital from the public through the issue of shares, subject to applicable regulations. It is a separate legal entity, meaning the company exists independently of its owners.
